Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 354
Today, Club Penguin has updated its weekly newspaper, the Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 354. In this week’s edition of the Club Penguin Times, we have our main article, supporting article, and our Upcoming Events. The main article was submitted by Aunt Arctic this week and informs us of recent summer temperatures arriving to Club Penguin. Our supporting article lets us know of a new Tropical Igloo Contest that begins on August 9th and lasts until August 14th. Last, as always, we have our Upcoming Events article which informs us of events coming to Club Penguin next week or within the next few weeks.
Warm weather is finally arriving to Club Penguin which means more relaxing and sunny days. According to the Club Penguin Times, this weather is perfect for the Beach and summer clothing items such as sandles and snorkels. You can also find new summer beach clothes in the new Penguin Style catalog in the Gift Shop. Here’s what one penguin fashion designer says, “We’ve got lots of warm-weather-inspired outfits. Whether you’re looking for a swimsuit, or just something comfy to wear around Town, you’re going to look FAAAAAAAAABulous!” More information about this topic will be in next issue of the Club Penguin Times.
A new Club Penguin Tropical Igloo Contest starts August 9th and lasts until August 14th. Penguins will be able to decorate their igloo into a tropical theme consisting of whatever items they choose and submit it by clicking on a gold igloo button. The Club Penguin Times informs us to make sure not to change our igloo until the contest is over so that the judges get a chance to view and rate it. The grand prize winner of the contest will receive six rare igloo items and one million coins. The second place winner of the contest will get three rare igloo items and ten thousand coins. The third place winner of the contest will obtain one rare igloo item and one thousand coins. Lastly, forty runner-ups will receive one thousand coins each. All winners will receive their penguin names in the Club Penguin Times issue that arrives on August 30th.

What did you think of this week’s newspaper? I’m looking forward to the Tropical Igloo Contest and hopefully winning first place so I can the one million coin with rare igloo items prize! It’s exciting that hot weather is finally coming to Club Penguin as well. I have to say that I am definitely looking forward to relaxing, swimming on the Beach, and getting away from all the cold weather for a month or more!
