Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 356
Today, Club Penguin has updated its weekly newspaper, the Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 356. In this week’s edition of the Club Penguin Times, we of course have our main article, supporting article, and our Upcoming Events. The main article in this week’s newspaper informs us that one of Rockhopper’s many treasures that he will be arriving with on August 23rd has been acting strange almost like it has a sort of curse. Our supporting article of this week’s newspaper was submitted by Aunt Arctic and lets us in on some information about the new Smoothie Smash game that will be arriving to Club Penguin during the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit on August 30th. Last, as always, we have our Upcoming Events article which informs us of events coming to Club Penguin next week or within the next few weeks.
Rockhopper states that he will be coming very soon with some exotic and amazing treasures to show off to all the penguins around the island, some of which he’s never seen or heard of before. But, he recently noticed something very peculiar with one of his treasures. He tells the Club Penguin Times that as he was sailing the avast seas with his loyal red puffle, Yarr, they noticed a noise heard from below deck. As they hustled to see what it was, they spotted the totem, that Rockhopper took from a very ancient temple, shaking, grumbling, and rattling loudly. He also claims that the totem has gotten to be bigger and bigger since he first boarded it onto the ship, he believes this totem is cursed. Luckily, he will still be arriving to Club Penguin on August 23rd, be on the lookout, penguins!
On August 30th, a brand new Club Penguin game will be arriving to the Coffee Shop. Construction workers all over the island are currently hard at work at building this brand new game. The Club Penguin Times recently spoke with a construction worker and he states that he has been hard at work, at the moment, building a conveyor belt for the new game. He gives us some exclusive information on how the game could possibly work by saying that the Club Penguin user will have to jump up and then smash back down on the fruit. However, if they don’t smash the fruit in time, they’ll fall right off the conveyor belt! This new Club Penguin game will have the name called Smoothie Smash. As said earlier, the game will be arriving this August 30th to the Coffee Shop so stay tuned, penguins!

So, what did you think of the Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 356? I found it very odd that one of Rockhopper’s treasures that he is carrying with him has been acting so strange on his famous Migrator ship. I do agree with Rockhopper that the totem treasure could very well be cursed if it has been growing bigger and bigger and bigger every time that he takes a peek on it. But, once I arrived to the end of that article, I was relieved to hear that this issue won’t prevent him from arriving to Club Penguin on August 23rd, but I hope the totem doesn’t cause any issues on the island, however. I believe that I was most excited for this new Smoothie Smash game that will be arriving to the Coffee Shop on August 30th. I think it’s about time for Club Penguin to release a new game on the island, I have to say that it has been a while! The game concept sounds very fun, I hope I don’t fall off the conveyor belt, that would really hurt! Anyway, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 356 in a comment below.
