Today, Club Penguin has updated their weekly newspaper and Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 364 has been released. As usual, in this week’s edition of the Club Penguin Times we have our main article, supporting article and finally, our Upcoming Events. The main article gives us additional information about Gary the Gadget Guy’s missing great uncle, Gariwald, who has been gone for quite some time with no trace on how he disappeared. Our supporting article informs us of an Igloo Contest which began today, October 11th 2012. For this month’s Igloo Contest, your objective is to submit the scariest igloo you can create. Each igloo submitted will be reviewed by the Club Penguin team and the scariest igloo wins. Our upcoming events contain Halloween-related activities that will be taking it’s place very soon on the Club Penguin Island. Stay tuned!
Club Penguin Newspaper Issue 364

In this week’s main article, Gary gives us many additional details on his missing Great Uncle, Gariwald VIII, who mysteriously disappeared a long time ago without a trace on where he could have possibly gone. Gary mentions Gariwald VIII’s research on ectoplasmic, or paranormal, activity and finds it pdd how he conveniently went missing on Halloween night. Seems pretty strange, huh? Gary asks for our assistance on his journey on solving this mystery. Are you with him? I know I am! According to Gary’s calculations, an enormous paranormal event is approaching. When the Halloween Party 2012 arrives on October 18th, the island will turn into a spooky, menacing community. This could be our one and only chance to find clues and evidence on Gariwald VIII’s disappearance. Be advised, the chance of you encountering ghosts on this journey is 135%. This means if you are willing to take on this search, you must be filled with the courage it takes to solve this mystery.

Our supporting article offers us a chance to enter in this month’s ‘Scaaaaaaariest Igloo Contest’. In order to enter this Igloo Contest, you must submit the scariest igloo you can possibly create. These spooky igloos will then be reviewed by the Club Penguin team. This scary Igloo Contest will range from October 11th to October 16th. You have five whole days to come up with the spookiest igloo you can think of. Of course, there will be prizes in which contain a wide variety of items and especially, coins. Third place winner will be receiving 1 rare igloo item, and 1,000 coins. Second place prize will contain 3 rare igloo items and 10,000 coins. The grand prize winner will be receiving not 1, not 3, but 6 rare igloo items and 1,000,000 coins! There will also be forty runner-ups whom will be receiving 1,000 coins. All of the winners will have their names included in the Club Penguin Times on November 1st.
